Research Areas

Our island ecosystem offers a large range of study sites that have allowed us to both document the deleterious impacts of human land use and commensal species on the persistence of small populations, and to develop management plans to ameliorate these effects on biodiversity loss. Read more…

 

Lab members

The people in our lab come from a variety of backgrounds and have a wide range of research interests spanning from demography, genetics and behavior of island populations to historical ecology, biogeography of meadow patches, post-release site fidelity of marmots and systematic conservation area design.
